Edition 14 out now!

We can’t believe we have reached our 14th edition - and the 3rd of 2023 - where is time going? For our 14th edition we decided to go with a topic that isn’t much explored by historians - but we’ve had great fun putting together this edition! Motorsport History isn’t just about the cars; it’s about the people who shaped the industry and the sport. Their contribution not only helped create a thrilling event that millions of people worldwide enjoy watching, but they have also helped shape the cars we drive and modern culture itself. From Brooklands to Lewis Hamilton, this edition covers a wide period of Motorsport history, offering an insightful look into this exciting part of history. Thank you as always to our amazing contributors to the magazine, from writing to creating the cover artwork, we couldn’t do this without you! If you’d like to get in touch with us about any content in the magazine or have ideas then please do email us on our new email address: info@thehistoriansmagazine.com

Rosie Maggs

Rosie is a public historian who currently works in Digital Marketing for an independent Museum. Rosie studied Film Production at University and then completed an MA in European History. Rosie loves learning new things about history but has a soft spot for the 1920s. Rosie set up The Historians Magazine as a way to give up and coming and established historians a place to write as she felt that there was a lack of places to get published easily in the history world. Rosie is looking forward to developing The Historians and Little Historians Magazines and can’t wait to see what 2023 offers! She is particularly excited for the Motorsport and Film and TV Editions.
